For one of the objects I chose to photograph was a wooden sculpture of an elephant. It was given to me from a middle school friend after he came back from a trip to India. What sets this sculpture apart is that in the back of the elephant there is a much smaller one facing the opposite way. When taking photos of the elephant I was able to use a DSLR camera for the pictures of the whole thing, but for the close up shots of the inside I had to use my phone camera to have a close focus and capture all the detail. For the background of most of my objects, I used a large sheet of white paper curved up from the floor to create a consistent background without any lines. I also placed the whole thing right in front of our sliding glass door to give ample natural light.
