I took this set of images while I was shooting for landscape photos. The barn in the picture is located off of Scio Church road, and is something I ride past frequently on bike rides. Compared to other barns, I thought this one would be interesting to photograph due to the side of it being blown open revealing the inside. This was the most fun set of images to take as I enjoyed walking through the field and around the barn looking for good photo opportunities

The Back Alley
Leaving the car to walk around downtown, this alley was one of the first places I spotted. It is relatively secluded from the rest of the city and has many vines, brick buildings, and details compared to other places. When taking the photos I had to be careful on how I took the pictures due to there being many cars parked in the alley. Even though we were supposed to exclude power lines I included an image of some as the chaos of the lines combined with the mess of vines in the background I thought made for an interesting photo.
Kerrytown!
I didn't take too many photos of Kerrytown; however these were some of the more unique architecture photos I took. I mostly wanted to include the image of the tall tower as the text printed on the side and the long vertical boards that it's made up of contrasts with many of my other images. The architecture here was also very different from other places with the curvy concrete enclosure and the large glass windows being set down into the ground. While I think this second image could've been a better photo, I don't know how else I would've taken it as the railings and other structures prevented me from getting a good angle.

Cropped Construction
While I'm not exactly sure what this building's used for, the brick architecture makes for a really interesting image. From the elements over each of the windows, to the larger bricks at the bottom of the building, and the mismatched sizing of the windows, I think these photos turned out well. My biggest challenge with this set of images was that in front of the building there was road construction, and while no one was working when I took the photos, there was an abundance of orange cones and barricades that contrasted greatly with the brick. Almost all the images I took at this location had some form of orange equipment that had to be cropped out afterwards which was disappointing. Even still, this was one of the most fun places to shoot.
The Local Loop Tunnel
Taken along a mountain bike trail in Ann Arbor, this tunnel was something I couldn't not include. While it's not the most interesting piece of architecture to look at, I thought all the graffiti would make it more intriguing. And while it certainly does, I couldn't find enough unique angles to make it to five images. It was still fun to visit the tunnel on foot and take a closer look at the artwork which I'm usually traveling too quickly to see.
